In response to various requests, especially from our recent 2005 Brigit celebrations, IFR has compiled, (with help from various Old Irish and Celtic lists) the following set of links to help those wishing to search Irish mythology, manuscripts, and language. All the sites mentioned here are reputable academic sources. The last one describes herself as “amateur” but contains some good material. Feel free to share this list with interested others. Dear Friends:

You will be pleased to know that we had a Board meeting recently aimed at
getting ourselves up and running for the coming year.

As some of you may know, I have been on sabbatical for the past year from
my role as Institute director. However, during the year we did manage to
contribute to the National Draft Plan for Women. A copy of our submission
is on the website.

You may also know that we no longer have any paid staff in the Institute,
although we do plan to pay resource persons for any events in which finance
(over and above the costs) is generated. However, given this situation, we
do have to be realistic as to what we can take on in the immediate future.

Immediately, I would like to draw your attention to two National Events
