IMBOLC:
QUICKENING AND STILLPOINT
Marian Dunlea and Candace Loubert invite you to celebrate Imbolc in the heart of the Burren.
Nature’s quickening pulse and growing light at Imbolc help us make our passage from winter into spring. Our own unique creative impulse or spark is held within this larger cycle of nature. We recognise that it may not be the time for full bloom or finished product in our creative process., but a time when we can experience the quickening seed energies in us of Imbolc. At Imbolc in the Burren, the stirrings in the landscape hint of pink orchids and gentian and the sceach geal, which will soon cover the rocks in the profusion of their bloom. What holds the promise of bloom for us and how can we nurture its young light? How do we hold our still point in the face of the shifting energies?
In this gathering at Brigid’s time of Imbolc we will track, through dreams, storytelling, movement, voice and artwork our resonances with nature’s pulse, finding our quickening and holding to our still point.
DATES Feb 4th 5th 6th. We will meet for dinner on Friday 4th and end on Sun 6th at 4.00 pm.
FEES 280 Euro. Fees include tuition, lodging and meals.
